2. Suitability of surfaces
Whether epoxy, resin, polishing or sealing is suitable depends on factors such as the type and condition of the surface, moisture, contamination, previous coatings, cracking, movement, exposure, access and intended use. We may need to inspect or test a surface before confirming a system.
3. Product and system variation
Different systems may involve different numbers of coats and application stages. A simple plain coating system may require fewer stages than a decorative full-flake or Hyper Flake system.
4. UV exposure and weather
Where suitable, we use UV-stable protective top coats to help maintain appearance. No coating should be understood as completely immune from ageing, wear, weathering, staining or colour change over time.
5. Photos and examples
Project photographs and examples are illustrative. Final appearance can vary because of lighting, screen settings, substrate condition, colour selection, flake distribution, texture, product batches and application conditions.
6. Polishing and sealing
Results from floor polishing and sealing vary according to the material, porosity, previous treatments, age and condition of the surface. Sealing can help reduce absorption and staining but does not make every surface completely waterproof, stain-proof or maintenance-free.
7. Benchtop resurfacing
Kitchen benchtop resurfacing is only suitable for certain existing surfaces and conditions. Heat resistance, scratch resistance, chemical resistance and maintenance requirements depend on the resin system used and should be confirmed for the particular project.
